Warranty

As of February 1, 2014, every new home built in Alberta is protected under warranty. Alberta’s New Home Buyer Protection Act encourages even higher quality standards, making sure your new home stands the test of time.

What’s covered?

Under the Alberta Home Warranty Program, we are happy to offer the following warranty coverage for our homes. Defects in labour and materials, (e.g. baseboards, flooring, fixtures), for one year following possession. Distribution systems, such as heating, electrical and plumbing, for two years following possession. The building envelope (e.g. roof and exterior walls) for five years following possession. Structural aspects, like framing, trusses and foundation, are covered for ten years following possession.
